Welcome to Setback
Setback has been created with the intention of connecting all of New Zealand's people who have been diagnosed with a debilitating condition.
Setback will bring together people that may otherwise not have had an opportunity to meet, and will unify all those sharing similar journeys. Setback intends to relieve some of the stress brought about by your diagnosis and provide you with a directory of services that may simplify some everyday decisions.
A setback, in my mind, is something that slows you down and calls for your attention, if not demanding it! A setback insists that you stand still for a moment to re-evaluate. So many New Zealanders are burdened every day with news of a disease or a disability, suddenly forced to confront adversity. Setback cancannot not prevent this or diagnose anyone, it is a place to empty your head, make friends and get advice on how to approach and adapt to your diagnosis.
